The TextMode property is used to set or return the behavior mode of a TextBox control.

Description |
| mode |
A number specifying the maximum number of characters
allowed in the
text box Possible values:
- SingleLine - Default. One line text box
- MultiLine - Text box with multiple lines
- Password - One line text box that masks the input

The following example sets the text mode of a TextBox control to "Password":
