Definition and Usage
The <dt> tag defines the start of a term in a definition list, and parts in a
dialog.
For definition lists: the <dt> tag defines items in the list, and the <dd>
tag describes the items
For dialogs: the <dt> tag defines a part in the dialog, and the <dd> tag
defines the sentence.
Differences Between HTML 4.01 and HTML 5
HTML 5 introduced the <dialog> tag, which defines a dialog. In dialogs, the
<dt> tag defines the part the sentence belong to. See example 2 above.
