The onsubmit event occurs when the submit button in a form is clicked.

Syntax

onsubmit="JavaScriptCode"

Parameter Description
JavaScriptCode Required. Specifies a JavaScript to be executed when the event occurs

The onsubmit event is supported in all major browsers.
