x=document.getElementsByTagNameNS("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml","price");
y=x.hasAttributeNS("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml","currency");

The result of y wil be:

Definition and Usage

The hasAttributeNS() method returns true if the specified attribute, with the specified namespace, exists, otherwise it returns false.

Note: This method is an XML method, and will not work with HTML elements.

The hasAttributeNS() method is supported in all major browsers, except Internet Explorer.

Note: This method is an XML DOM method, and will not work with HTML elements, However, Chrome and Safari supports this method with HTML elements as well.


Syntax

element.hasAttributeNS(namespaceURI,attributename)

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
namespaceURI String Required. The namespaceURI of the attribute you want to check if exist, set this value to null if you dont want to specify a namespace
attributename String Required. The name of the attribute you want to check if exist

Return Value

Type Description
Boolean true if the element has attributes, otherwise false
