Definition and Usage

The cellPadding property sets or returns the amount of space between the cell border and the cell content.

Syntax

Set the cellPadding property:

tableObject.cellPadding="number|percent"

Return the cellPadding property:

tableObject.cellPadding

Tip: There is no default value for the cellPadding property.

Value Description
number The space in pixels (with or without a px designator)
percent The space in percent (with a % designator)

The cellPadding property is supported in all major browsers.
