Definition and Usage
The CSS :indeterminate
pseudo-class selects any form element that
is in an indeterminate state.
This pseudo-class can only be used on:
- <input type="checkbox"> elements. The indeterminate property must be set to true with JavaScript
- <input type="radio"> elements, when all radio buttons with the same name value in the form are unchecked
- <progress> elements in an indeterminate state
