Table deleteCaption() Method

Definition and Usage

The deleteCaption() method removes the first caption element (and its content) from the table.

Tip: To create a new caption for a table, use the createCaption() method.

Syntax

tableObject.deleteCaption()

Browser Support

The deleteCaption() method is supported in all major browsers.

Example

Remove the table caption:
