Definition and Usage

The multiple property sets or returns whether more than one item can be selected from a dropdown list.

Syntax

Set the multiple property:

selectObject.multiple=true|false

Return the multiple property:

selectObject.multiple

Browser Support

The multiple property is supported in all major browsers.

Select multiple options from a dropdown list:
